The following diagram shows how to use SCOM to monitor the HP EVA storage.
In my environment, the HP command view and WEBES are installed on the same server named A, SCOM and WEBES listener are installed on the same server named B.
On server B, ensure the WEBES listener is listening on TCP port 8945.
netstat -an | findstr 8945
TCP 0.0.0.0:8945 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING
On server A, add the following entry into the environment variables.
SVCTOOLS_HOME C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\svctools
Turn on WEBES and type in the the host name and port of the WEBES listener.
desta start
desta mom on
then run the command to test – wsea n analyze input “C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\svctools\common\ca\examples\eva_events.evt” not vis
(If the service obligation has expired, you have to reconfigure it via desta servob change)
If everything is configured correctly. On the server B. You should be able to see the alerts that forwarded by WEBES from server A in either the WEBESListerLog.log file or the application event log (Source: WEBESEventListener)

Big question for you. I installed IRS 7.0.8 on a server and have the DESTA.BAT file. But I’m unable to execute desta mom on or desta start. Where did you grab this setup? WEBES 6.4 does not exist on IRS 7.08.
Also, my desta.bat is in C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\RS\SVCTOOLS\COMMON\BIN
error:
C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\RS\SVCTOOLS\COMMON\BIN>desta mom on
Error During Command Parsing: Unrecognized command ‘mom’
C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\RS\SVCTOOLS\COMMON\BIN>desta start

I’m sorry, the desta used here was with HP IRS. There is no desta.bat files installed on my Command View server 10.3
I found another thread about this. Seem to be related to Command View 10.3. This version seems to not include desta/webes anymorw Which version are you using?

I try to install CV 9.5, 10.1 and 10.3. All of them does not contain the WEBES monitoring for EVA. So my guest is you still have Webes 6.x installed somewhere on your server
By chance, do you still have the sources? Should be Webes6_4.msi or WEBES6.4.msi

May I ask you if there is a relevant case can be sent to me for reference.
To monitor P6000 HP, I did not find you command view and WEBES HP installation package. I would like to ask where to download it.
