‘Validate SCSI Device Vital Product Data’ test validates that the storage supports necessary SCSI inquiry data (VPD descriptors) and that they are unique. But after the installation of Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, the test will always fail during cluster validate test.
The solution to this issue is to install a Microsoft hotfix, no restart is needed.
