TSM Service Logging

The TSM service logging is disabled by default. If for some reason, the TSM service can not be started. You can turn the service logging on for troubleshooting.

Set HKLM\SOFTWARE\IBM\ADSM\CurrentVersion\Server\Server1\Service\LogOutputToFile to 1 (enable) or 2 (disable)

  1. HI,

    you can set the logging option on in the mmc (tsmnet64.mmc) under “TSM Server/ Reports/ Serice Information”. Right click the tsm service, select properties and set the log output to..
    That’s it.
